Gas scooter are here for nearly 100 yeas now. From the day they were designed and manufactures they underwent a lot changes and innovations. Gas scooters have evolved to the point where they are now controlled by computers and taking the shape of artificial intelligence.

Electric scooter o the other hand has been made commercially available recently. Previously an attempt to create a vehicle for the elderly and the handicapped was done using an electrically powered vehicle in the form of an electric wheelchair. An electric wheelchair became a popular mode of effortless transpiration for the physically disabled persons.

But as there was more research done into the storing of electricity using batteries, new and advanced batteries have come up that last longer and can be recharged quickly. This age rise to their use for vehicles. Another major reason why electrics scooters have started to grow in popularity is constantly increasing gas prices. It is becoming more and more difficult for the common man to own a car and use it for leisure purposes.

Gas powered scooters will always have a threat to our planet's environment because of it's exhaust gases. On the other hand electric scooters are sleek, have zero polluting agents, are virtually noiseless and lightweight. Many electric scooters have designed that can be folded and carried away by lifting in hands. Because of their lightweight kids and elderly people can use then easily. Those who love in metro cities know that facing everyday traffic jams is the worst thin that can happen while returning home in the evening. In such cases an electric scooter is handy vehicle, which can be maneuvered easily even in tightest traffic jams.

Thus an electric scooter is far more economical and affordable solution in the long run. The only cost the electric scooter will have is the charging of the battery everyday and the electricity required for it. To cater to this situation it is advisable that start using an electric scooter along with a gas powered one and see the difference yourself. Analyze the running cost of a gas and electric scooter for a month or two and then decide upon the frequency of usage of both gas and electric scooters.
